Safety & Care

At Fletcher & Rae 3D Studio, our products are individually 3D printed and may include small parts, moving components, and other features that require proper use and care. Please review the following information before using or allowing a child to use any of our products.

Small Parts & Choking Hazard

WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD — Small Parts. Not for children under 3 years.

Many of our products contain small parts or components that may become detached if a product is damaged, broken, pulled apart, or subjected to excessive force. Small pieces may present a choking, ingestion, or aspiration hazard.

Keep all products containing small parts away from children under 3 years of age. Children should use age-appropriate products under responsible adult supervision.

Never allow any 3D-printed product or component to be placed in the mouth. Our products are not intended for chewing or teething.

Clickers, Fidgets & Moving Parts

Clickers, articulated items, fidgets, and other products with moving components may contain small internal or removable pieces.

Do not intentionally disassemble, pry apart, excessively bend, crush, twist, or otherwise misuse these products. Repeated or excessive force may cause components to loosen, separate, crack, or break.

If a clicker, fidget, or other product becomes damaged or begins losing pieces, discontinue use immediately and keep all broken or loose components away from children and pets.

Breakage & Sharp Pieces

3D-printed products can break if dropped, crushed, bent, struck, exposed to excessive force, or otherwise damaged.

Broken plastic may create small pieces, rough edges, or sharp points capable of causing cuts, scratches, choking, or other injury.

Always inspect products periodically, particularly items handled frequently or used by children. Immediately discontinue use and safely dispose of any product that is cracked, broken, damaged, or has loose or sharp components.

Do not attempt to continue using a damaged item simply because it still appears functional.

Heat & Temperature

Most Fletcher & Rae 3D Studio products are printed in PLA, unless otherwise stated.

PLA can soften, deform, or warp when exposed to elevated temperatures. Do not leave PLA products in hot vehicles, near heaters, fireplaces, stovetops, ovens, open flames, candles, or other significant heat sources. Extended direct sunlight and other hot environments may also cause deformation.

Some products may be printed in PETG, which generally offers greater heat resistance than standard PLA. However, PETG is not heat-proof or fire-proof and may still soften, deform, melt, or become damaged when exposed to sufficiently high temperatures.

Never expose any 3D-printed product directly to an open flame or heating element.

Decorative & Household Products

Unless a product listing specifically states otherwise, our decorative and household products are intended only for their described purpose.

Do not use our products for food preparation, food storage, drinking, cooking, or other food-contact applications unless the individual product is specifically identified as suitable for that use.

Products should not be placed in a dishwasher, microwave, conventional oven, toaster oven, or other heated appliance unless specifically stated otherwise in the product listing.

Product Variations

Because our products are created using additive manufacturing, minor variations are a normal part of the 3D-printing process. Layer lines, seams, slight surface variations, minor color differences, and other cosmetic characteristics may occur.

These characteristics do not necessarily indicate that a product is defective.

Proper Use

Products should only be used for their intended purpose and according to any instructions or warnings included with the product or its listing.

Do not modify products or use them in a manner for which they were not designed.

Adult supervision is recommended when appropriate based on the product, its components, and the age and abilities of the user.

Keep products and broken components away from babies, young children, and pets when they are not intended for them.

Inspect Before Use

Customers are responsible for inspecting products before and during use.

Do not use a product if you notice:

• Cracks or fractures
• Loose or missing pieces
• Sharp or rough broken edges
• Damaged moving components
• Significant heat deformation or warping
• Any other condition that could make the product unsafe

If any of these conditions occur, discontinue use immediately.

Product descriptions, age recommendations, warnings, and care instructions should be reviewed before purchase and use.

Warnings and care information are provided to help customers use and maintain products appropriately. They are not a substitute for reasonable adult supervision, proper use, or compliance with product-specific instructions.

Fletcher & Rae 3D Studio reserves the right to update product safety information and care recommendations as products, materials, and designs change.

When in doubt about the condition or safety of a product, discontinue use.
